Kristine Hendricks

I was raised in North Scottsdale and have spent most of my life here. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about helping others and supporting families. While raising my four children, I became deeply interested in parenting and family dynamics, which quickly became the focus of my life’s work.

Education & Early Experience
While living in San Diego, our home became a safe haven for teens facing a variety of life challenges. That experience inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, where I earned dual certification in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Professional Counseling.

Professional Journey
I began my career working with middle school students and their families in San Diego. I loved seeing young people open up, share their struggles, and work hard toward meaningful change. Over time, I expanded my work to include individuals dealing with severe depression and anxiety. Watching clients transform—from being homebound and overwhelmed to rejoining the workforce and reclaiming their lives—was both humbling and inspiring.

Specializing in Relationships
As I continued my journey, I became certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy and began focusing on couples and families. I realized I wanted to return to my roots in North Scottsdale and start a practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, healthier relationships.

Founding My Private Practice
In 2017, I opened my own practice—and I knew immediately I had found my niche. I discovered how deeply a couple’s relationship impacts not only their own well-being but also their children’s academic and emotional success. When parents grow stronger together, their children often begin to thrive too. These powerful stories continue to fuel my passion for this work.

Today, our practice has grown to include a team of over ten amazing therapists. I feel incredibly grateful to work alongside such compassionate and skilled professionals. It’s a joy to walk this journey with each of them every day.

Outside of Therapy
When I’m not working, I love being outdoors—whether I’m hiking Arizona’s trails or body surfing in San Diego. Running and exercise are a big part of my life, and I cherish time spent with my children, family, and friends. I also love to read and consider myself a lifelong learner.
